New tech for stunning contrast and color LG's MRGB95B displays a bright, bold picture using a new technology called Micro RGB. Instead of lighting the screen with conventional white or blue LEDs and relying on filters and film layers to create the color we see, its backlight uses a vast array of very small red, green, and blue LEDs. Because color is created directly at the light source, it's purer and more accurate than what was previously available on an LED TV. And less light is blocked in the process, so the picture is very bright.
