This plug-in carbon monoxide alarm is AC powered with battery backup and a digital display that shows the level of carbon monoxide the unit is sensing. The peak level button displays the peak CO level recorded since its last reset. Unit will alert user to replace alarm after 10 years of operation. No night chirps - end of life and low battery signals are programmed not to occur in dark conditions. The rotating AC blades keep the unit vertical whether electrical socket is vertical or horizontal. 10 year limited warranty.
