The Camillus Impulse II™ 7.75" Folding Knife features a 2.75" drop point blade made of AUS-8 steel bonded with Carbonitride Titanium. All together, this material makeup affords incredible resistance to rust and corrosion and is up to 10x harder than untreated steel. This way, the blade can stay sharper for much longer. The AUS-8 steel, a Japanese medium-carbon, high-chromium stainless steel, also provides more than just basic durability. AUS-8 strikes an exceptional balance between toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance.
